Your data is yours. We process the minimum necessary to deliver dispute automation and margin protection — nothing more.

Account information: name, email, company name, billing address
Integration data: PSP transaction data, marketplace order data, shipping carrier tracking data (only what is necessary for dispute response and automation)
Usage data: feature adoption, dashboard interactions, automation rule configurations
Communication data: email sequences opened/clicked, support conversations
We never sell your data. We never share it with non-service-provider third parties.

All customer data is processed and stored within the European Union (GCP europe-west1 and europe-west9)
Subprocessors: Google Cloud Platform (infrastructure), Resend (transactional email), PostHog (product analytics, anonymized), Stripe (billing)

Data Processing Agreements (DPA) are pre-signed and available for all plans

Active account data is retained for the lifetime of your subscription
Upon cancellation, dispute data is retained for 90 days (export available on request), then permanently deleted

Backups are retained for 30 days and permanently destroyed after rotation
Email sequence data (opens, clicks) is retained for 12 months for analytics

Right of access: Export all your data in machine-readable format (JSON/CSV) from your workspace settings
Right to rectification: Update your personal data at any time from account settings
Right to erasure: Delete your account and all associated data from workspace settings or by contacting dpo@refundize.com
Right to data portability: Receive a structured export of your data within 48 hours of request
Right to object: Opt out of non-essential communications from your notification preferences
